Kronozio has been serving collectors for 11 years. Its new web app, NEXT, takes every card from scan to sale in one place, and the AI handles the tedious part.
Every collector knows the moment. You crack open a monster box of raw cards, stare at the pile, and realize you have no idea what is in there, where the good stuff is hiding, or how you would ever get it all listed.
Kronozio NEXT is built for exactly that moment. The web app ties each card’s images, details, storage spot, value, selling status, orders and shipping into a single record. AI fills in the card info. You keep the final say.
NEXT also handles coins, stamps, comics, Funko, die-cast and more. But trading cards are where the AI does its heavy lifting today, so that is where we are keeping our eyes.

Step one: scan it and skip the data entry
Kronozio’s whole philosophy starts with the card in your hand, not a form on your screen. Scan it or import photos while it is sitting in front of you, and keep the front, back and any key angle together in one record. NEXT holds up to 12 images per item, so there is room to show off corners, edges and that centering you have been bragging about.
For sellers ready to go all in, Kronozio offers Cards2Cash bundles that pair a scanner with a 12-month license, supplies and free one-on-one onboarding. Both run on Windows or Mac.
| Bundle | Scanner | Built for | New cards with AI documentation | Active online listings |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Canon LiDE 300 | 1 to 15,000 cards | 1,000 per month | 1,000 at a time |
| Professional | Ricoh fi-8170, plus risers and catch bin | 15,000+ cards | 3,000 per month | 3,000 at a time |
That Professional setup is clearly aimed at breakers and dealers feeding stacks of base and inserts through

at volume. Hobbyists sorting a childhood collection can start smaller.
The AI does the homework
Here is the headline feature. Snap the card, and Kronozio’s AI identifies it and drafts the details for you. The company puts its identification accuracy at 92% and calls it the best AI documentation in the industry (per kronozio.com, as of October 2026). That is Kronozio’s own figure; CardVestr has not independently tested it.
The smart part is how coverage works. Kronozio integrates card sets one at a time, and once a set is in, the AI can document cards across that whole release. Sports cards and trading card games are both supported. The AI Coverage directory shows the latest integrated releases, and if your favorite set is missing, you can request it right inside the app.
Pro tip: check the directory against the sets you actually collect before you commit. Coverage is the difference between magic and manual.
“Somewhere in the basement” is not a location
Kronozio makes a point we love: knowing what you own is only half the battle. You also need to know where it is. NEXT lets you assign every card a real, physical address, down to the category, box, row and section that match how you actually store things.
Because that location lives right next to the photos, condition, price and selling status, a search result turns into a full working view of the card. Looking for every rookie of a certain slugger? Pull it up and you will see what you have, what shape it is in, and exactly which box to open. No treasure hunt required.
Kronozio sums up the goal in a collector guide on its blog: a workflow where your hundredth card follows the same clear path as your first.
AI agents that ask before they act
This is where NEXT starts to feel like the future. You can hand tasks to a team of AI agents in plain English: find every card of a player, answer a question about a specific card, prepare listings, or run a big batch change.
Picture telling it to take the last batch you scanned, update the condition, adjust the pricing and list everything at a fixed price on eBay. The agents do the prep work across the whole batch.
The key detail: nothing goes live on its own. The agents bundle their work into one final approval list, you review it once, and you decide what becomes final. For collectors who are wary of letting a bot loose on their PC, that is exactly the right design.
From the scanner to the mailbox
Once your cards are documented, NEXT keeps the whole selling journey in the same record. You can prepare eBay listings, review incoming orders and manage shipping without bouncing between tabs, spreadsheets and sticky notes.
The dashboard pulls it together at a glance: inventory value, cards ready to list, revenue, how inventory is flowing in and out, and an action queue of what needs your attention next. For anyone running a side hustle out of their card room, that action queue alone could be a game changer.
The features page also lists Showcase, data exports and team support, which should appeal to shops with more than one set of hands on the inventory.

Coming from Card Dealer Pro? There’s an on-ramp
Kronozio is clearly courting Card Dealer Pro users, and it has published a step-by-step migration guide to make the switch painless.
- Export each CDP batch as a ZIP file with all data and images. Export options depend on your CDP plan.
- Keep the ZIP files intact and reach out to Kronozio’s team, who will help import them into your collection.
- Submit any cards CDP did not document for AI identification. The migration offer includes free documentation for those cards, possibly subject to a credit cap, so confirm your allowance with the team first.
Personal onboarding is part of the deal, which is a nice touch for sellers moving thousands of cards at once.
The bottom line
Kronozio NEXT wants to be the operating system for your card collection, and the pieces are all there: fast capture, AI that identifies cards set by set, real storage locations, agents that do the grunt work, and selling and shipping in the same place.
It fits a wide range of collectors. Weekend sorters get a way to finally see what is in the shoeboxes. Breakers and dealers get a volume pipeline from scanner to eBay. Local card shops even have a dedicated hobby store program.
And while NEXT is new, Kronozio is not. Eleven years in the hobby plus a modern AI-powered web app is a fun combination to watch. If your collection has outgrown the spreadsheet, NEXT is worth a look. Check the AI Coverage directory for your sets and the pricing page for the plan that fits your stack.
